JSA MT Star Search 2020
The Return of MT Star Search looking for a Dance Star
Jodie Steele Associates are proud to be offering the chance for Musical Theatre dancers all over the UK to win the chance to perform a dance solo at The Other Palace, West End, London in the JSA Elite Show - Date TBC due to Covid-19.
Not only that, the lucky winner will also get 3 free Dance JSA workshops with West End Pros such as Cleve September and there is prizes sponsered by our uniform partners DANS-EZ.
Existing Elite performers are also welcome to apply to secure this solo in the showcase (as well as the free workshops).
You do not have to be a JSA Associate to apply for this competition, it is open to ALL!
How do I get involved?
We just need a video of you dancing to a musical theatre song of your choice.
It must be Jazz/Modern in style. No Ballet/Tap for this please.
Tempo is your choice.
Please wear dance wear so leotard or bra top and tights/leggings/shorts. Any footwear is fine.
Jodie and Liam Doyle will choose the winner of the competition
The rules
Your routine MUST be from a song from a musical.
It must be between 1 and 2 minutes.
You must be fully visible in the video throughout.
The choreography doesn’t have to be your own as that isn’t everyone’s strength but please make sure you credit them.
Only one video will be accepted.

The Small Print
All Videos must be uploaded by midnight on the 20th September 2020.
There is no fee involved to enter.
The JSA Elite show is Date TBC due to being postponed due to Covid-19
The 3 Workshops must be booked within 12 months of winning, this can be extended by Team JSA in writing if Covid-19 restrictions do not allow workshops to take place.
The decision of the winner by the panel is final.
If you are under 18 you must obtain permission from your parent / guardian to enter.
